Bathing in Nature baths Myvatn & Mountain biking in Myvatn area

This is a wonderful mountain biking tour, were we cycle in the beautiful nature in the area of Myvatn lake. Come with us on this tour and enjoy the bright summer evening in north Iceland.

On our way we do some amazing sightseeing and visit sites off the beaten track. We cycle by the “Underground Bakery” where the locals bake their tasty and well-known “Geysir bread”. The bread is baked underground in natural geothermal steam. We then continue to the old Steam Bath Cave near the fissure of Grjótagjá, the old bathing caves, before we get to the Mývatn Nature Baths for approximately one hour of relaxing in the warm water and natural steam baths. Remember to bring your swimsuit & a towel for this tour. But don’t worry it is also possible to rent them at the Nature Baths.
