Whale Watching Iceland and River rafting

The day starts with a whale watching from Reykjavik old harbor. You will be picked up from your accommodating around 8:00 am for this adventurous sailing tour. On the unforgettable boat journey you will experience whales and seabirds in their natural habitats. On the tour you can expect to see large whales and dolphins. The most commonly spotted whales are the Mink whales, White-beaked dolphins, Harbor porpoises, and Humpback whales, with the occasional appearance of Fin, Sei, and Killer whales (orcas). The tour also takes you past several islands inhabited by colonies of wonderful puffins. This simply is a feast for the photographer who loves to take photos of animals and nature!

When the whale safari trip is over, you will be taken on a wild rafting tour for the big splash on the Hvita glacier river! This 7km (4.6 miles) trip takes you through crashing waves and exciting rapids as it winds its way through a series of spectacular canyons. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to swim in the glacial water and challenge yourself by jumping off a cliff into the river! You can afterwards take a hot shower and a sauna before returning back to Reykjavík.

Remember to bring: Packed lunch, warm sweater (no cotton), bathing suit, towel and a change of clothing.
