We start the tour by sailing out from Grundarfjörður and then get up close to the protected island of Melrakkaey. This is a very nice place for sea birds and great place for people who love bird watching as we will get close to the cliffs to get the best view available. Many birds such as Puffins, Cormorant, Shags, Kittiwaskes and more nest here.

As we head out to deeper waters, you get a chance to try your hand at sea-angling, which is a lot of fun, especially when you hook a big fish! Every passenger will be equipped with a fishing rod and all necessary angling equipment. Feel the thrill and excitement that comes with catching a big fish. This tour is suitable for experienced fishermen as well as people with no fishing experience.

While sailing back to Grundarfjörður you can enjoy the magnificent mountain Kirkjufell from a different angle.
